About
Born in Sicily, I moved to Pisa to study Computer Science.
I consider myself as an IT dreamer, that is,
I have many ideas to improve the world and people's life through technology.
I also have many other hobbies and passions, that range from reading
(in particular, I appreciate many branches of philosophy 🥸) to sports, through cine and music.
IT and Development
My main interest is the cybersecurity, I'm really fascined from security and
I'm curious to know how things work, where they fail and how to improve their security for a safer world.
My interests also include software and system engineering and formal methods.
In future, I'd also like to investigate issues related to neuroscience.
I'm an open-source advocate and
I believe that the technological progress, iff is guided by ethics,
can change the world and improve people's lives, bringing them to the freedom.
I obtained my BSc defending a thesis on Value-Set Analysis, which combines my interests in both cybersecurity and formal methods.
After that, I developed for some time @ Omninecs, where I also investigated new
technologies for the R&D department.
Now, I'm studying verification and security @ University of Pisa, where I'm a student representative.
As I said, I'm very curious, so I love reading
to discover many things I still ignore.
I usually spend very much time a day to listen music, specially italian songwriters.
I would also like to learn to play an instrument, so I bought a
guitar that I sometimes dust off.
I love to watch movies and go to the cine, especially if it's raining outside.
Sports
Of course I'm not Federer, but I really like to play tennis!
I would never have said that, but I love to run with my favourite songs in headphones
I recently started fencing again!
Hobbies
Let's play a game on the next break!
In the evening, if it's possible, I love to have a cold beer with friends.
